Broncos too good for tough Tigers

The Brisbane Broncos have held out a tough challenge from the Wests Tigers in their 10th anniversary clash, coming away from a rain soaked Campbelltown Stadium with a hard fought 20-18 victory.

The Broncos looked ominous early on, opening up an early 8-0 lead thanks to two quick tries to Antonio Winterstein and Karmichael Hunt, while the early chances for the Tigers were let down by some sloppy work on attack which could partly be put down to the late withdrawal of key playmaker and captain Robbie Farah.
