ESL Pre season match details

Dewsbury Rams 14 v 18 Bradford Bulls

Ryan Hudson and Andy Lynch made their debuts for the Bulls as a young Bradford side held off a late fightback from Dewsbury.

Lee Radford opened the scoring for Brian Noble's side, before Andy Smith went over and Deacon added his second conversion of the afternoon.

Radford crossed again to put Bradford 18-0 up, but Dewsbury fought back in the second half to narrow the scores and give the Bulls a late fright.

Featherstone Rovers 10 v 44 Hull FC

John Kear's men recorded another big pre-season win, crossing for eight tries against a new-look Featherstone outfit.

Hull again proved too fast and too strong for their National League opposition, just a week after they systematically took apart local rivals Hull KR at the KC Stadium.

Richard Whiting touched down for a hat-trick of tries against his former club, alongside futher efforts from Gareth Raynor (2), Danny Brough and Kirk Yeaman (2).

Warrington Wolves 32 v 16 Whitehaven

Jon Clarke bagged a hat-trick as Warrington proved too good for Whitehaven.

But Whitehaven's performance suggested they will again be challenging in LHF National League One, after they touched down for four tries at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Ben Westwood, Phil Berry and Danny Lima also crossed in a game that saw the return of Lee Briers following his recovery from surgery on his finger in October.
