Tuesday's Expert Wrap - NRL Preliminary Finals

Well this is it, we're down to the big dance - next week is the 2014 National Rugby League Telstra Premiership Grand Final! Here you can check out all the Preliminary Final results, reports and player of the year points right here.

Intense matches at ANZ Stadium across the weekend - the Rabbitohs became the first team though to the decider with an emphatic win over the Sydney Roosters on Friday night. The boys from Redfern trailed 12-0 in as many minutes before clawing their way to post 32 unanswered points. Two late tries to the Roosters flattered the Bondi boys in the end result.

Saturday night saw a nailbiter between Canterbury and Penrith, with the Belmore-based side progressing with a gritty win after shooting out to a 12-6 halftime lead. They pushed it out to 18-6 midway through the second half before withstanding Penrith's late flurry of attack.

Both sides will sweat on injuries and suspension going into the Grand Final with Canterbury's Michael Ennis (foot) and South Sydney's Issac Luke (potential dangerous throw suspension) both in significant doubt.
